I Made A Tiny Crochet Dragon Pattern From My Crocodile

image showing the little crocheted dragon

Today I’m going to share my free tiny crochet dragon pattern. It’s an interesting one, because it’s a bit of an amalgam of my existing patterns. You’ve got the basic body and head of the crocodile, the goats horns and a variation on the gecko’s feet! And some individual aspects as well, for good measure.

What You’ll Need

Techniques and Tips

To crochet your tiny dragon you’ll be mostly working in standard amigurumi rounds. You’ll also need to do some surface crocheting, and a little bit of hand sewing too.

You’ll find the following abbreviations and terms in this pattern:

Swap over to your 3mm crochet hook, and use the red yarn. Beginning at the nape of the dragon’s neck, make single surface crochets along the back, down to the tail, around the tail, and back up the side of the dragon’s back again.

Use the same yarn to sew little teeth into the upper side of the lower jaw.

The Nostrils

Use your 3.5mm crochet hook and darker yarn for the nostrils. All you need to do is make a magic circle of five stitches, but don’t close it. Sew your open magic circle onto each side of the muzzle.
