My Floppy Crochet Monkey Pattern
My new floppy crochet monkey has got to be the tallest crochet pattern I’ve ever designed thanks to the adorable dangly legs. The tweed yarn gives it a fun vintage feel, and despite its super size it’s very simple to hook together.
Here’s What You’ll Need
- 100g Debbie Bliss aran Tweed yarn* in sunset brown
- 100g Debbie Bliss aran Tweed yarn* in silver gray
- 4mm crochet hook
- 10mm safety eyes*
- Toy stuffing*
- Tapestry needle*
- Black yarn scraps for the nostrils and mouth

Attaching the muzzle
You now need to sew your muzzle section onto the head. Attach so that the muzzle sits below the point the head expands, and the eyes sit above it.
Insert a safety eye through the bottom inside half of each eye patch panel.

Take a strand of yarn and sew it from the open end, to the tail end, then back out the open end. Pull the strands to bend the tail, then tie them onto a stitch at round 47. This will give the tail a bend.
