Floppy Monkey Pattern PDF
$4.99
I love a floppy monkey toy so much that I decided to make one myself! And I have to admit, I’m pretty happy with the results. This crochet monkey pattern has adorable dangly legs and an expression that will make anybody grin just as wide. The tweed yarn gives it a fun vintage feel, and it’s very simple to hook together.
This is a beginner friendly pattern, packed with illustrative photographs of the construction process, and plenty of written detail too. The step by step instructions for crocheting and hand sewing the parts together will be easy to follow, and you’ll have a floppy monkey of your own in no time.
Please note that this is a set of pattern instructions, not a physical product. It is written in US crochet terms. You will also need 150g Debbie Bliss aran tweed yarn in sunset brown, 100g Debbie Bliss aran tweed yarn in silver gray, a 4mm crochet hook, a pair of 12mm safety eyes, some toy stuffing and a yarn needle. I also used black worsted weight yarn scraps for the nostrils and mouth.
It’s fine to substitute the yarn for another brand, just remember to check the packaging for the recommended hook size.
If you have any questions whilst you are crocheting along, you’ll find my email address on the last page of the pattern instructions. I’m always happy to help.
