Hi Rose, It’s an aran weight yarn, so slightly heavier 🙂

I think she’s asking, do you do the chain 1 to close after you have pulled through all the loops?

I am very new to crochet, and am not sure about the puff stitch. In the flower video, is each petal made of 2 puff stitches or just 1? If the petals are made of 2 puff stitches, how do you secure a single puff stitch when making the hat before going on to a double crochet? Thank you! I do love the look of this hat, and am excited to make one.

Hi Jolan, Sorry to hear that you have found the instructions unclear. I will record a new video giving an exact demonstration of how I stitched this up asap 🙂 Lucy x

Could you please explain this? I watched the video. Do I need to pull up the stitch like in the puff flower? Sorry for my ignorance. I like the hat pattern. Although I’m not that new to crocheting, the technique is new! I bwant to try out some of the new techniques!
Thanks.

Hi Teresa, The puff stitches are individually closed, yes. So after you have pulled the yarn through three times, you take the yarn through the all together to complete the stitch. I hope this is what you were asking, do let me know if I have misunderstood! Best wishes, Lucy.

I’m working on this now for my mother in law.
